sorry for the delay, this board is very rarely used so not monitored daily.
yes i edited transmission setings files to shut down settings that may expose problems. you cant delete torrents because in the early days there were wars over whose torrents got the previously limited space on the download drive.
i removed or hobbled any other settings that caused problems as they occured.
transmission creates 2 settings files but i cant remember what i changed as it was long ago. i not really a coder so it was suck and see programming. i tried for advice on the transmission github page but there was no reply.

did you do that email server yourself? i tried to set up a webmail server in the past without luck. if you have any advice on that im all ears.
you can post anything on this chan and i welcome movie torrents and reviews. it would be good to drum up a bit of activity again. it all went dead when some reddit group from opendirectories started posting cp here (the only thing i will delete and dox for) and i had to scramble ips firewalls and ports to stop their bots.
thats one of the reasons search doesnt work; crawlers cant index it.
kids cartoons and movies are welcome,theres a few families using this server instead of paying netflix and amazon and i try to keep brainrot out.
there are other sites who offer web based torrent downloads but they are often short lived and use bespoke front ends, where i prefered to keep it looking like you would see on local client. i used to also run qbitorrent but that broke after a while.

ps. if you add a torrent that you later want to delete, pause it and i will delete it and its files. sometimes we have to add multiple torrents to see which ones work, its no sweat.
do try to choose h264 instead of 265 or 10 bit if possible so people can stream on older tablets. i dont have a gpu that can live transcode.
