I was thinking about search.

a dumb simple method would be to write a mini script that recursively LISTS contents of a directory and writes the results to a text file
then appends other directory listings to that text file.

the text file could be accessed via a users browser, and use the browser's search feature to parse the text file/list

toss the tiny script into a nightly cron job, and either overwrite or create a new list base on date

IE:
cd action
ls-l >> main/text.list
cd drama
ls-l >> main/text.list
etc.

as you may notice blyad has been down a fair bit.
there is nothing to worry about, its just there has been a lot of recent power cuts lasting beyond my current backup supply capabilitiess, and also the local ISP only has under half hour battery on the fibre relays.
there has been bad weather and extensive renewal of the grid infrastructure in the area. we might get a new substation transformer soon and then things will stabilise.
if ever you cant get on blyad, first clear your cache, try again, and if no luck, try again in a few hours as i rarely go down for more than a few hours unless she really hot. ask your mom

im still snowed under with engine oil and welding for a bit, but this is progress.

another thing thats needed urgently is a search system that is hosted on site. there used to be a search box that was from an external site but they stopped indexing me after it grew too big.
i cant afford any premium services so it has to be on the server itself and maybe automatically indexing the site every night. let me know if you (or anyone else) has any thoughts on this because even I cant remember what genres I file most music under. depends if im drunk or whatever

you could take that code and create
a whole separate webpage for just the memes
--cut the header and footer from the index page and paste it in, that will load the CSS
then ON THE INDEX PAGE POINT THE "memes" LINK TO THIS NEW MEMES page and also add a back button to the main index.

they may have code to just load
whatever images are in the memes directory wirhour having to code for each one

or find code for a better carosel/slideshow

also a google for animated gifs and you can change up ANY of the thumbs for the various sections

OK, the file should be in the DL diretory.

the index page uses absolute http addresses aka I can use it on my desktop as a local file and it still hits your server. it should also work fine hung on your server.

it is commented so should be EZ to edit as you with, with even a text editor.

0 scripts, it's all CSS that makes it go, but you can add scripts as you wish.

I included a bunch of CSS files that can add functionality. IE: an image carosel etc.

In webfiles directory,
webfiles>>img specifically, live the image files that make up the page
I grabbed a bunch of animated files that sorta relate to genre etc.
you can keep or use others.
